OpenSecrets.org, a project of the Center for Responsive Politics, and “a coalition of other pro-transparency groups (including Public Citizen, Sunlight Foundation and others)” claims it has collected 23,000 “citizen” signatures on a petition calling for the Romney campaign to reveal its bundlers.
Back in July, I reported on this petition plan by George Soros’ proxies — CRP/OpenSecrets.org and other faux “grassroots” organizations — here and here.
OpenSecrets.org is beside itself that the Romney Team will not handover its bundlers list.
- At this point it has been nearly six months since we first asked the Romney campaign to disclose the identities of its bundlers. We fear that with each day that passes, it is less likely that the campaign will do so. And if the public doesn’t demand it, it certainly won’t happen. If Romney wins the election, voters will soon see who is being rewarded without having had the benefit of knowing these names before going to the polls.
Based on the harassment progressive groups have heaped on the Koch brothers and anyone else unsupportive of “The Won”, is it any wonder Team Romney is keeping its big donors list to itself?
Not only that, Team Obama has established itself as more than willing to use the “powers of the president” to harass people on Obama’s “enemies list”, including Romney supporters and donors.
